WOW and WOW and this is an amazing lap top writing desk. I have had my eye on the Jefferson style desk, but finding someone who creates them was a tough find UNTIL I found Kate's shop here on etsy. Her work if superior and amazing. She provided an option to get the wood of choice. This is a treasure. Modern and a nod to history. The desk is flawless and filled with her talent as a wood worker. Nice craftsmanship! Very happy with it

The item was quickly shipped. Although it was good quality, I felt that it could have been better quality. On mine the wood did not meet the metal fitting tightly. I'm sure it will work fine.
